After finally leaving Riga Dome Church and all of its beauty and largeness, I came across Rozena iela (which translate to “street” in English). The street is the complete opposite in size from the church as you can see from the picture.
This street is supposedly so small that at one point you can stand touching the buildings on one side of the street and reach over and touch the other set of buildings on the other side of the street.
I don’t know if that is true, because I couldn’t find the spot where you can do this. However, that’s not to discredit the idea that the street is narrow – it is. No car would ever fit through it.
At the other end of the street there is a neat looking medieval era pub/restaurant.
