One of my favorite spots in Tallinn would definitely be Harju Hill. It sits right next to Freedom Square and has some of the best views of the city. To get up the hill, you have to climb some stairs from Freedom Square.
But that’s ok, you get a good look at the Estonian flag on the way. When you get to the top, you are rewarded with some magnificent views. First, I looked back over Freedom Square.
Then we started wandering around the hill. It was beautiful up there.
Who doesn’t love a park with fresh snow on it?
When you walk around the park, you get to see some other incredible views, like this:
You also get to capture some amazing postcard like images, like this:
Also at the top of the hill, there is a plaque dedicated to the “Baltic Way.” You can read the information for yourself.
A great reminder that people should not put up with occupation. A truly incredible and inspiring story.
