Once inside Hohensalzburg, the castle gives you a few different perspectives.
The first is that this is an isolated city. Similar to any other city – it has some similar features like streets.
It has a chapel, just like a city would have places of worship.
And a tower, just like a lot of old cities.
And the backs of buildings that look just like the backside of buildings in most cities of the world.
The only difference is the wall that surrounds the castle – designed to keep people out, or keep people in safe. Or really to separate those in power from those not.
