When you are in a castle, surrounded by walls and protections you get a false sense of security.
You look around and you see a lot of things around you.
You can even look down on the rest of creation and into people’s lives
And that’s when you understand the lure of a castle, or wall. It gives you the false sense that you control what goes on around you.
Instead, the reality is that life is happening all around you, but you are really the one who is locked away in your own prison, unable to go out and enjoy the beauty. All you can do it observe it.
This is the essence of fear. It’s what separates living from observing from “safety.”
