In Salzburg, public squares are a big thing. Some run right into each other. As we wandered from one square to the other, we came across Mozartplatz.
This is another one of those squares where if I had several days in Salzburg, I would have bought a drink, maybe some ice cream and just sat relaxing and enjoying the day and the surroundings. It’s just that beautiful.
And boy, it tasted great, too!
We hit Mozartplatz towards the end of the day and happen to catch the sun at the perfect angle.
The square is just so pleasant.
Mozartplatz is of course named after this man…
Which is very fitting. You can practically hear his compositions as you sit and enjoy food and drink and the surrounding beauty.
