St. Michael’s church in Munich is a unique looking church on the outside.
The shape of it reminded me of the House of Blackheads in Riga, Latvia.
Here’s a reminder of what that looks like.
See what I mean? The shape of the buildings, the statues on the front, entrance. Lots of similarities to me.
At any rate, the detail of the front of the church is really quite amazing. Worth a closer look.
Isn’t it always amazing that when we see something beautiful for the first time, we stop and look in awe. Yet, typically, once people see something, then it becomes a part of the landscape. I’m always amazing by this. There were plenty of people proving that point – just walking by without noticing because, well, they see it everyday of their life.
Every once in a while, it’s good to just stop and notice. Especially when we are in our routines.
