Another street, another church. Another beautiful church, but empty. Seems to be the norm in Europe.
On this day, I went inside Annakirche. It was beautiful in a different way from some of the other churches I have seen. Maybe it was the color combination. Then again, I’m red-green colorblind so my eyes see the world differently anyway.
I love the art work throughout the church – it feel a bit older – more Middle Ages in nature.
Part of it almost feels like a castle.
One the things I love about visiting churches the most is the sense of calmness one gets when you step inside a church. It’s calm in the midst of chaos outside.
Annakirche has another neat feature – the organ. I haven’t seen organ pipes set up this way before. Really cool!
