Isator Gate is one of the four remaining medieval gates that were part of the wall around the city – way back when.
Now, they serve as beautiful photo stops for tourists.
Maybe this is the idea behind Isaiah 2:4:
He shall judge between the nations,
and shall arbitrate for many peoples;
they shall beat their swords into ploughshares,
and their spears into pruning-hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more.
Maybe the gate shall be made into a photo op – it’s purpose no longer for war, but art.
