I think my favorite part of Nymphenburg palace were the gardens. They are beautiful, open and in nature. Yes, some of the landscaping has been altered by human hands, but the further away from the castle you get, the more nature is allowed to run its course.
The first thing you see when you step out to the gardens is the back of the palace.
It’s beautiful, just like the front. I like the detail in some of the carvings.
And then you turn around and are treated to this:
It’s large, it’s beautiful and it’s outside.

The statues off in the distance are actually quite far away as you can see from the previous picture.
