When you reach the end of the Nymphenburg palace grounds, there is a fountain awaiting you.
It’s quite impressive and has mythology-based statues surrounding it, just like other parts of the garden.
There aren’t many people who make their way to this end of the grounds. It’s a pretty good hike. But it’s worth it.
I was glad to have trekked through the woods to get here.
I think the fact that so few people venture this far is part of the beauty. It’s actually quite quiet and peaceful. The only sounds you hear are the water flowing in the fountain and the birds chirping and singing – a delightful combination.
It’s refreshing and gives you a boost of energy to get back to the palace to finish the trip.
