As I ended my trip and time in Munich, my friend and I did something that seemed very appropriate – we went to a beer hall to enjoy a final glass of beer.
We enjoyed the beer at the Augustiner Bierhalle. It’s an old beer hall in Munich, and it is always full with people wanting to enjoy some great beer.
While not as noisy as the more famous beer halls, it still has some great culture and is lively in its own way. On top of that, the artwork within the building is great too.

Yes, that’s a sausage the figures are holding. How cool and Munichy is that?
So as I was getting ready to leave this wonderful city, I couldn’t help but take one last picture of something I appreciated.
It’s a beer vending machine. 1 € for a beer. I swear I was in heaven. You just don’t find something like this anywhere – a vending machine full of the world’s best beer at an inexpensive price. What could be better than that? What a great way to leave a city and region that I came to love in a short period of time.
Next up. I’ll have a series of posts on some recent trips in the US.
