Just a friendly reminder that Labor Day isn’t about sales. It’s a day to take stock in all the labor that has been done for the past year. To be grateful for being blessing with work, for living in country where you can work, for being able to search for work. It’s about recognizing that not everyone will be employed and that we should do what we can to help those in this situation. Labor Day is meant as a day off from work, yet there will be so many who labor away on this day. Some out of necessity because of the line of work they engage in. Some because the day is an opportunity to sell more stuff.
Regardless of the situation – here’s to all who labor. Here’s to all to seek work. God bless you and your labors.
