In December, we travelled with Pappy to visit Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square, southeast Pennsylvania.  According to the website it has over 1077 acres of gardens, woodlawns and meadows.  In the early 20th century, the Du Pont family bought the property and are really responsible for the vision of what it has become.

When we visited, it was pretty darn cold outside.  But that didn’t stop us.

Having said that, we started inside and made our way through the Christmas displays.

Even being colorblind, I could still enjoy the array of colors that were right in front of my face.

Lesson for church – People want to give.  Give them an outlet and do amazing things with what is provided.
