As we continued on our stroll through Philadelphia, we came across Washington Square – named for George Washington.

The flame is supposedly an eternal flame.  Although it has been put out as a political protest in recent years.  Still a beautiful statue and really a wonderful square in the city.  Too bad we didn’t see it in the day time.
