Communication can take on a few forms.

First it can be a bunch of information.  That’s ok, but really, it’s just information.  There’s not much there.  Just some data.  Data is fine, but without knowing what to do with the data, it’s not all that useful.

Second, communication can be something more – like a story.  Stories are good.  People remember stories.  It impacts then.  They can relate to stories.  People can insert them self into the story.  Stories touch something deeper in a person.

Third, communication can be expressing ideas in ways that emphasize a point.  Often this happens through the use of imagery.  Images, even if they only portrayed in words, are very powerful.  An image tells its own story.  An image has a great deal of value tied up in it.  An image is visual.
