Icelandic homes are unique.
Maybe it’s the siding.
Or maybe the colors.
Or maybe it’s the styles and architecture.
Regardless of what it is, it’s what makes Reykjavik unique.
Here’s another unique thing – the oldest home in Reykjavik.
It fits right in with it’s neighbors doesn’t it?
Of course when you visit Porvoo, the sites along the river are a must see.
Every view you see is fantastic.
And of course, the red warehouses along the river are magnificent.
These are the buildings that everyone pictures when they think of Porvoo.
And for good reason. The contrast in color is almost like a man-made version of fall leaves with the deep reds contrasting the yellow and other color homes behind them.
Good bye Porvoo, we loved visiting!
