From Gullfoss waterfall, you get some amazing views of the nearby glacier.

Granted, it is still a good distance away, but here’s the thing, looks can be deceiving.  It looks only like a mountain range in the distance.  Part of that is due to the fact that the glacier has melted a good bit.  But it’s there when you look beyond the mountains.

And it’s amazing.
